The new board of directors of Staecnon/RJ has been elected for the four-year period 2025/2029.
At a time of great challenges for the working class, the Union of Sanitation Workers of the North and Northwest Region of the State of Rio de Janeiro – Staecnon/RJ – elected, this Monday, December 23, 2024, the new board of directors for the four-year period 2025/2029. The winning slate, with the motto "unity and renewal," brings together the experience of consolidated leaders and the energy of new talents, who together will seek to strengthen the representation of workers in the sector.
From March 2025, the union will be presided over by Josemar Violante Cordeiro, who assumes the mission of leading the category with grit and determination. The new board's main challenges are to strengthen collective bargaining, guarantee workplace safety, promote workers' health, expand the services offered by the union, and continue the tireless fight in defense of public sanitation.
To achieve these goals, the new board will rely on the experience of figures such as Hélio Anomal, Claudilei Fagundes, and many others from the current administration who will continue to contribute, along with the energy of new leaders such as José Guilherme, Marcos Antônio, Luidi Boquimpani, Robson Dantas, Alexandre de Assis, and Camila Lamonica. Together, they will work to build an even stronger and more active union.
We invite all members to actively participate in union activities and closely follow the work of the new board. Unity is fundamental to guaranteeing the defense of our rights and building a better future for all workers in the sector.
