STAECNON/RJ begins negotiations with LPH Engenharia for improvements for workers in Porciúncula.

The Union of Sanitation Workers of Campos and Region (STAECNON/RJ) has begun collective bargaining with LPH Engenharia, after the list of demands was approved in an assembly with the workers. The first round of talks took place last Tuesday, July 30th, and marked the official start of the dialogue to seek better conditions for the workers of Porciúncula.

The agenda, built democratically with the participation of all, includes: salary adjustments above the INPC and IPCA for a real replacement of inflation; increases in food and meal allowances; implementation of a health plan; and assistance for children with disabilities (PWD), among other demands.

Although the initial dialogue with LPH Engenharia was productive, the union is working to ensure significant progress on the points raised. To this end, STAECNON/RJ will soon convene an extraordinary assembly to present and discuss the company's formal proposal with the workers. The board emphasizes that collective strength is fundamental to achieving the necessary progress.
