Cedae workers approve the agenda for the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Held this Tuesday (April 9th) by the unions Sintsama/RJ, Staecnon/RJ and Sindagua/RJ, the General Assembly unified the agendas of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the year 2024/2025, approved in the assemblies held in the respective areas of operation by each union. Since the beginning of the year, the union institutions have been bringing the topic to debate through discussions held in the meetings of the Joint Human Resources Committee, and intend to formally deliver the agenda by April 15th, so that negotiations can begin.
The expectation is that this year's negotiations will be smoother, since last year's talks were difficult, requiring unions to mobilize the workers' strength, in addition to the Regional Labor Court (TRT), for amicable mediation. "It is the role of the unions to fight for a fair wage adjustment, better working conditions, job security, the maintenance and re-nationalization of Cedae, among many other clauses that will be discussed for the benefit of the workers. We need to be united in this campaign!" - said Hélio Anomal.
