CEDAE's Joint Committee is now a reality.
Public competition as the main topic.
The signatory unions met with representatives from Cedae this Wednesday (July 15th) for the 1st Meeting of the Joint Committee. This is a historic agenda item, negotiated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which is being implemented with the aim of discussing sensitive issues of extreme interest to the category. During the meeting, the issue that gained the most attention was the holding of a new Public Competition to fill the Company's staff positions.
The meeting was considered highly productive. During the meeting, CEDAE's management presented an initial proposal for the selection process, which includes filling vacancies for various positions, the technical needs of each sector being assessed. Union representatives actively participated in the discussion, contributing relevant insights to ensure career advancement.
As next steps, the Company representatives will forward the proposal to the CEDAE presidency for analysis. Following that, the project will go to the State Governor for validation, aiming to enable authorization and the official opening of the selection process.
The next meeting is already scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
