Union meets with CEDAE workers in Cardoso Moreira and Italva

Workers from CEDAE in the municipalities of Cardoso Moreira and Italva received a visit this Wednesday (08/05) from the STAECNON/RJ delegation, composed of president Hélio Anomal, directors Juarez Bernardino and Denise Macedo, for a series of meetings. The meeting included the participation of lawyer Jéssica Nascimento, representative of the Marcus Neves Law Firm, who provided clarifications on several issues raised.

"Meetings like these will be increasingly intensified, with the goal of bringing more unity and strength to our category. It is the union's role to listen to the concerns and work on strategies that will provide solutions to issues that can mitigate the daily lives of our colleagues who struggle, often without having the minimum resources to carry out their work activities," said Hélio Anomal.

Considering that in recent years, the work carried out by the union has increased exponentially with the fragmentation of the sanitation sector, several companies have started operating in municipalities that were previously served by Cedae, requiring that these workers also be assisted by STAECNON/RJ, increasingly demanding that the union dedicate time and manpower to meet all the needs of the community.
