STAECNON/RJ participates in the 1st Knowledge Forum of the Itabapoana Hydrographic Basin

The Union of Sanitation Workers of Campos and Region, once again made a difference by representing the category at the 1st Knowledge Forum of the Itabapoana Hydrographic Basin, an event that takes place on July 18, 19 and 20, in Bom Jesus do Itabapoana, with the theme "Towards an integrated management of water".

Represented by director Fernando Soares, STAECNON/RJ also contributed to the debate, prompting reflection among managers, opinion leaders, students, and especially the general public on the importance of public sanitation and the increasingly evident effects of privatization in neighboring municipalities.

Bom Jesus do Itabapoana is hosting this important event organized by REDI, an initiative that aims to promote dialogue and cooperation among the municipalities that make up the Itabapoana Hydrographic Basin, discussing and seeking solutions to the socio-environmental challenges of our region.

Schedule:
- July 18th: Official opening of the event, followed by the keynote address and cultural presentations, starting at 6 PM.
- July 19th: Roundtables and workshops with the participation of producers, experts, and representatives from regulatory agencies and institutes, river basin committees, and educational, research, and extension institutions.
- July 20th: Field trip to the Ruins of Limeira do Itabapoana, located between Mimoso do Sul/ES and Campos dos Goytacazes/RJ.
