Staecnon/RJ requests a meeting with Cedae to discuss the current situation of its employees.
In response to a request from Staecnon/RJ and other unions , Cedae scheduled a meeting to discuss the situation of employees who will be reassigned from their jobs to other locations where Cedae continues to provide services. This is a tense situation that has caused great emotional insecurity among the workers. It is worth noting that the Company never consulted the unions or the workers, acting unilaterally.
Given this fact, Staecnon/RJ demanded an urgent meeting with the Company so that this situation could be addressed with due attention. In response to the official letters, Cedae scheduled a meeting for tomorrow (October 20th) at 5 pm with all unions to discuss the utilization and reassignment of employees after the assisted operation.
Considering that it is the role of the union to represent, protect and defend the interests of the category, including in the current moment of insecurity and uncertainty, Staecnon/RJ vehemently demanded a more humane and responsible stance from Cedae.
"We want a minimum of dignity! We are dealing with people, families, colleagues who have fought for years to provide quality water, even amidst the difficulties imposed, " said Hélio Anomal.
